Why should I become Muslim?

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth in utter beauty and splendor, with their plants, animals, and fish in the seas. After that, God created man ( Adam a human being ) and gave him authority over all creatures and made for him a garden to work it and keep it. And God found that the man needed a woman to help him So God said " It is not good that Adam should be alone; I will make for him a helper suitable for him, and God created her (Eve) and brought her to Adam. The Lord God commanded Adam and his wife not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for if they ate from it they would surely die. And Adam and Eve lived in the utmost happiness in the garden until they broke God’s command and ate from the tree through the seduction of Satan; he became corrupted and came under the rule of death, lost his dominion over the a creatures, and was expelled from the garden. But God’s loving heart willed the salvation of man (the human being) from the state of corruption and death by bringing him back to Him in a better condition than before, so He arranged for him a way of salvation and restore his humanity; and this is the supreme purpose of religion.

1- The eternal destiny of the human being:
It is reported in Sahih Muslim (71/2816) from Aisha, the Prophet’s wife, that she used to say: The Messenger of God, peace be upon him, said: “Be upright and moderate and rejoice, for no one will enter Paradise because of his deeds. They said, “Not even you, O Messenger of God?” He said,Not even I Unless God enfolds me with His mercy. And know that the most beloved deeds to God are those that are most consistent, even if few.”

And what also confirms the soundness of this hadith is what came in Surah Maryam 19:71 “There is none of you but will pass over it; this is, with your Lord, a decree that must be fulfilled. 72 Then We will save those who were mindful and leave the wrongdoers therein, kneeling.” What, then, is the benefit of Islam if it does not give a person peace and joy in heart and spirit and certainty about his eternal future? And does Christianity affirm to a person his eternal destiny with God? Yes, as will be explained in details in one of the following articles.

2- The law of marriage:
God is the One who established the law of marriage and the first to complete it: one wife only, and she should be able to help her husband in all circumstances of life and be at his intellectual level (his counterpart), able to understand him.” All of God’s prophets and messengers from Adam till now, applied this law and no divorce except in the case of adultery only.

But the Prophet, peace be upon him, married a child 9 years old while he was 53 years old, and it is natural that this child would be unable to understand a man like her father and would be in need of someone to help her, and he married the wife of his adopted son Zayd after her divorce from him, and also 9 other wives and two concubines, and any woman who offered herself to the Prophet if the Prophet wished to marry her. This is an explicit breaking of God’s law. And the bitterest of all, is that if a wife is divorced 3 times, she may not return as a wife to her first husband unless she marries another person, and after divorcing him she can return to her first husband, and this is against God’s law in the Torah and the Gospel for this act is considered an abomination and evil that defiles the land as well.

3- The principle of dealing with demons:
Satan is the first enemy of God, and he is described as the murderer, liar, deceiver, accuser tempter,Satan (despairing of God’s mercy), the Devil (the defiant rebel), ruler of this world and he shows himself as an angel of light and his end is in Hell, the eternal fire, and he will be tormented forever and ever. And God forbade the Jews and Christians from dealing with him in any way. And God commanded His followers to resist him, as it is said in Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the Devil. For our struggle is not against blood and flesh, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world-rulers of the darkness of this age, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

As for in Islam we find that there is an entire surah in the Qur’an, Surah al‑Jinn (72), and also the Prophet, peace be upon him, had dealings with the jinn, as in the hadith of Imam Ahmad in "al‑Musnad" (6/ 332‑334), in which it is stated that ‘Abd Allah ibn Mas‘ud and Alqama affirm that the Prophet spent a night with the jinn in the al‑Jahun area and another night in Cave Hara. Also, the testimony of Lady Aisha, may God be pleased with her: (The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was bewitched until it was imagined to him that he did a thing although he had not done it.) Reported by al‑Bukhari (3268) and Muslim (2189). And the Prophet practiced ruqyah, as it was reported from the Prophet’s wife Aisha: She said: Whenever the Prophet, peace be upon him, was ill, Gabriel, peace be upon him, would perform ruqyah over him, saying: In the name of God I perform ruqyah for you from every ailment; may He heal you; from the evil of an envier when he envies, and from the evil of every evil eye. And the Prophet would do likewise for those who were in pain. This is a clear breaking of God’s command.

4- The principle of introducing rites and rituals of pagan worship into the religion of the Lord God:
The region of Canaan was among the worst lands in idol worship, and they would offer their children as sacrifices to idols. Therefore, God had to establish a new nation of which He would be King, set His holy and just laws, and show all the peoples the blessings that His people enjoyed above all other nations, so that God would be glorified and the other nations would reject the worship of pagan gods and seek to worship the true God alone. And the Lord warned His people not to slip and worship these idols, lest His wrath be poured out upon them and He scatter them throughout all the lands; the following verses make this clear:

Exodus 20: 2 “I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. 3 You shall have no other gods before me. 4 You shall not make for yourself a carved statue, nor any image of what is in the heaven above, or on the earth beneath, or in the water under the earth. 5 Do not bow down to them nor serve them, …….. All the words that I command you, be careful to do. Do not add to it nor take away from it. And do not mention the name of other gods, and let it not be heard from your mouth.

However, in Islam it was permitted to keep the obligations and rituals that were practiced in the worship of idols; so the Kaaba was kept as the official place of worship and the obligation of Hajj exactly as the polytheists used to do, and the fasting of the month of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr as the Sabeans used to do…….

Surah Al-Baqara 2: 158 Indeed al-Safa and al-Marwa are among the rituals of Allah; so whoever makes Hajj to the House or performs Umra, there is no blame upon him to go between them; and whoever volunteers good—indeed, Allah is Appreciative, Knowing ………196 And complete the Hajj and the Umra for Allah; but if you are prevented, then [offer] whatever can be obtained with ease of the sacrificial animal; and do not shave your heads until the sacrificial animal reaches its place……………

Surah Al-Baqara 2: 183 O you who have believed, fasting has been prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become righteous (183)

5- Differences in some verses in the Quran from the Gospel:
1- in Surah al-Anfal 8: 29 “Fight them until there is no fitna and the religion is entirely for Allah. If they cease, then indeed Allah is Seeing of what they do.” Forcing people to accept Islam

And Surah al-Tawba 6: 5 “When the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them, seize them, besiege them, and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush; if they repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, then let them go their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.” And this is against freedom of worship for everyone.

Surat Yunus 10: 99 “And if your Lord had willed, whoever is on the earth would have believed, all of them together. Will you then compel people so that they become believers?”

And Surah al-Baqara 2: 256 “There is no compulsion in religion; the right has become distinct from the wrong. Whoever disbelieves in taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the firmest handhold with no break in it, and Allah is Hearing, Knowing.”

2- In Surah Yunus 10: 64 and Surah al-Kahf 18: 27, Allah does not cancel or change His words, but in Surah al-Nahl 16: 101 and Surah al-Baqara 2: 106 He changes and replaces.

3- In Surah Yunus 10: 8 Pharaoh did not drown, but in Surah al-Isra 17: 102 Pharaoh drowned, and all who were with him.

4- In Surah al-Isra 17: 101 and also in Surah al-A'raf 131-132, Allah struck Egypt with 9 plagues, among them lice and the flood, but in the Gospel, in the Book of Exodus there are six chapters 7-12 that tell us the details of ten plagues which do not include the flood and lice.

5- In Surah al-Qasas 28: 9, the wife of Pharaoh adopted Moses, but in the Torah the daughter of Pharaoh is the one who drew him out of the water and adopted him.

6- In Surat Taha 20: 85-88, al-Samiri led the Jews astray by making a calf that lowed, while Samaria did not exist until about 700 years after the Exodus of the Children of Israel from Egypt, and Harun, the brother of Moses, is the one who made the golden calf and made a feast for it so they would worship it; the prophet Moses crushed it and scattered it in the desert.

7- In Surah al-Ankabut 29: 39 and Surah Ghafir 40: 23, Haman was a minister with Pharaoh in the days of Moses, but Haman was the prime minister of King Ahasuerus, one of the kings of the kingdom of Media and Persia, which came into being more than a thousand years after the Exodus of the Children of Israel from Egypt.

And the seeker of truth should refer to the many details on the satellite channels Al-Fadi, Al-Karma, Al-Hayat, and others.

Dear Muslim, each one of us will surely stand before God on the Last Day to receive eternal happiness with Him or to be cast into Hell with the devils. If you do not give me a convincing answer as to why Allah changed these principles and what the explanation is for all these contradictions so that I may believe in Islam as a religion, then do not call me KAFER (disbeliever) and know that your fate will be as stated in Surah Maryam 19: 71 “And there is none of you except that he will pass over it; that is upon your Lord an inevitable decree.”
